Campaign leads help your team follow up with contacts who meet the campaign’s lead rules or produce a useful business outcome. Open Call Campaigns → Campaign Leads to view leads across campaigns, or open a campaign and select its Leads tab.

Understand contacts and leads

A contact is a person added to a campaign. A lead is created when the campaign’s configured rule is met. A completed call does not automatically mean the contact is qualified. Outcome tabs help triage: All | Qualified | Callback | No Outcome | Pending, with badges Qualified (blue), Callback / Follow Up (amber), No Outcome (red), and Pending (slate).

Contact statuses

A contact moves through these stages during a campaign: Attempted totals count dialing, retry, failed, completed, no-answer, and busy rows; not-connected rows are failed-DND and invalid ones.

Review a lead

  1. Search by name, phone, or role, or filter by outcome tab and date range.
  2. Open the lead details to see contact, campaign source, assigned member, and assigned-on date.
  3. Review the contact information and campaign source.
  4. Check the call outcome, call direction, duration, start time, transcript with recording playback and speaker separation, AI summary (outcome, requirements, objections, key points, follow-up, next action, detected languages), and call timeline.
  5. Confirm qualification before beginning follow-up.
  6. Update the owner or status according to your team’s process.

Keep lead data useful

Use consistent statuses so team reports remain meaningful. Avoid creating duplicate follow-up records for the same contact and campaign. When a call has no useful outcome, review the conversation before marking the contact as qualified. For inbound campaigns, configure the default owner and initial status during Lead Capture. For outbound campaigns, review qualification and outcomes in the campaign overview after calls begin.

Follow-up checklist

  • Confirm the caller agreed to the next step.
  • Check the preferred language and contact details.
  • Review any promised date, time, product, or service.
  • Respect opt-out or do-not-call requests.
  • Record the latest status so another team member can continue the work.

Follow-up timing and ownership

Contact qualified leads within one business day - callback intent decays fast and the transcript’s promised time window is a commitment. One owner per lead: when ownership changes, the new owner re-reads the transcript and summary before calling, never cold. Close the loop on every lead with a final status (converted, callback scheduled, not interested, unreachable) so reports reflect reality instead of accumulating stale New records. Review the No Outcome pile weekly; patterns there rewrite next month’s script and qualification rule.
